Honesty.
We need complete information about your medical history and current symptoms or difficulties.
Communication.
Tell us what you and your partner expect from treatment. We want to help you find a treatment that fits into your lifestyle. We will outline the various treatment alternatives so you can make an informed decision.
Understanding.
If you or your partner do not understand a test, diagnosis, treatment or medication instruction, tell us. We want you to comprehend fully every aspect of your care. We also provide reading material and educational videos.
Respect.
A substantial amount of time will be reserved for your appointments so please be punctual. If you can't keep an appointment, we require 48 hours notice.
Feedback.
We want to know if something is bothering you. If you aren't fully satisfied, this could affect your treatment. Talk to us.
With you participation, we can provide excellent care in a relaxed, learning environment. We promise to keep you involved in any treatment decision.
While many of our services are not covered by the Ontario Health Insurance Plan (OHIP), some extended health care plans will defray the cost of testing or treatment. Let us know if you have any questions or concerns.
